The Track is AWESOME ! And so is the weather. The Turnout is pretty good!
Joe Myers is doing a great job as race director.
The double timing trap is working fantastic, now that it's adjusted for the crown of the road. Every run is spot-on accurate.

We have two very talented guys handling the event photography (Bryan Blaser) and V ideography (Josh Barry).

So far we have 6 that have faster than 100 MPH !!!

Records are falling. Not going to post any speeds till we have the final results.

The only way I can describe this past weekends event is AWESOME!

This was my first time directing a STRAIGHT LINE event - so I was very green with some of the issues we'd have, but I learned quickly!

It is so incredible to watch a guys progress all weekend long - trying SO hard to get a car over the Century mark, and be so close run after run...but falling short. Then, in a HAIL MARY Effort - BAM! There it is!! Awesome Marc Davidson - he was one of my favorites to watch all weekend!

The whole Louisana gang were a ton of fun to watch -

I met some great people for the first time - was reacquainted with several others I had just met at the Closed Course event back in May - THANK YOU ALL for your great cooperation all weekend!!


NIC - SHAWN - TIM - GARY : GREAT EVENT YOU HAVE!!! Thank you for having me be a part of it!

and lastly - HOW 'BOUT THAT Weather! Saturday was PERFECT from the second I got to the track - but SUNDAY, I thought we were going to be in trouble - HIGH WINDS and COLD in the A.M. but Mother Nature sure took care of us - PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT for the rest of the day!!!

It sounds like it was an awesome event. Cant wait for the results. Seems like a lot of guys hit 100mph.

Unfortunatley I wasnt able to make it due to a family emergency.

I believe this pass was on 6s. I dont remember the speed, maybe sombody will post it up.


I would like to get a better look at the other car he ran that went 129mph on 3s. That was just an amazing run. Not to mention Tim
Smiths record breaking electric modified 126.5 mph run was also very cool for a car he just built and never tested until saturday . There were so many exciting runs I cant list them all, some records went down and then those records went down also truely an awesome and competitve event.

I'm very jealous...you guys obviously had a lot of fun & I'm impressed by the incredible speeds. I'd attend just to listen!!
